Summer Brief Research

As part of the work behind the alphabet summer brief, we were asked to research different letter forms. One of the stipulations of the brief, was to find at least 20 examples of each letter of the alphabet.
I produced the main body of research by finding images of letters whilst reading daily typography blogs throughout the summer.
Here are some of the contact sheets of the letters I collected:

The examples I collected show a wide span of different typefaces and different ways of creating letter forms. They range from different ways of simply drawing letter forms, to creating letters out of pre existing shapes and objects.
The research collected will be used for a future brief.
